Our Programs & Classes
Students and enthusiasts of Tang Soo Do have many reasons for their
interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical
fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and
self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and
self-defense.
Whether you are interested in our programs
for mental or physical well being, Acton Karate & Martial Arts school offers
a number of programs that will fit your developmental needs and your busy
schedule as well.
Programs
Tang Soo Do Karate
The base art taught at Acton Karate &
Martial Arts school was brought to this country and Americanized by Chuck
Norris. Our Grandmaster Ichikawa was trained by Mr. Norris and Pat Johnson in
the early 70's. The training uses the physical art as a vehicle to build strong
character: self contol, integrity, courtesy, perseverance and indomitable
spirit. Parents love the wealth of growth the art brings to their children.
Adults and teens enjoy the challenge and fun of the physicality of the
art.

Summer is coming - GET IN SHAPE with
Acton Karate's Fitness Classes
BOOT CAMP CLASS
It is the ultimate circuit workout combining intervals of cardio drills
and muscle coonditioning drills. Enjoy the variety of classes that may
use jump ropes, boxing drills, etc. These high-intensity classes will
help you to burn between 400-600 calories. Suitable for all levels -
but let your instructor know if this is your 1st time. 30mins

CARDIO KICKBOXING
Mix up your routine with the flexibility and strength building moves of
kick boxing. Using no equipment, this kickboxing interval workout
incorporates intensity drills, energy sprints and recovery segments.
This fun and intense workout teaches basic kickboxing skills
choreographed to energizing music.
You’ll enjoy high intensity drills and the opportunity to burn
300 – 600 calories.* Most suitable to participants of medium to
high fitness levels. Newcomers welcome – please let your
instructor know you’re new! 60mins

AMP'D ABS
Tired of doing the same basic crunches? In this workout you’ll be
led through a variety of effective exercises designed to work the
entire abdominal area. Amp’d Abs is a must-have in
everyone’s fitness regime. 15 mins
